“As the summer draws to a close, I cannot tell you how relieved I am to finally have completed my chemotherapy,” the Princess of Wales wrote in her message. “The last nine months have been incredibly difficult for us as a family. Life as you know can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way forward in the stormy waters and uncharted waters.”
“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,” she continued. “It brings you face to face with your vulnerabilities in a way you never thought of before, which brings a new perspective on everything.”
“This time has reminded William and I to reflect and be grateful for the simple, important things in life that so many of us often take for granted,” she continued.

“Doing everything I can to stay cancer-free is my focus now,” she said. “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my road to full recovery is long. However, I look forward to getting back to work and doing some public engagements in the coming months when I can.”
“Despite everything that has happened, I enter this new phase of my recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation for life,” she continued. “William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn so much strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness and compassion has been so important to me.”
She concluded her inspiring message by saying: “To all those who continue their journey with cancer, I will remain with you, side by side, hand in hand, from darkness can come light, so let that light shine bright.”
Kate Middleton accompanied her message via X with a video of her and her royal children. George Charlotte, Louis, her husband Prince William, and Kate were seen walking in nature, spending quality time with their family.
