With Vinicius and Kylian Mbappe in attack and Jude Bellingham as another shining name, many tend to forget that Rodrigo is also part of the Real Madrid attack, and of course one of the best players in the world. After last season he scored 17 goals and made another nine and won the Champions League, the Brazilian was not included in the list of 30 candidates for the Ballon d’Or.
The player was hurt by this and moved on, but on the night of the European champions’ first Champions League game of the season, Real published their match poster on social media with pictures of the ‘BVM’ trio, Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappe, while Rodrigo was not included in the poster.
A few minutes later, the Brazilian uploaded a story of himself with a song whose lyrics in the background were: “Many, many, many bad people.” They just want you to feel bad and speak against you.” He added a picture of himself from a game and actually ‘promoted’ himself for the match against Stuttgart.
This is not the first time the Brazilian has used social media to explain his feelings. The player was even “cut” from the picture of the four celebrating the European Super Cup win, when a picture of Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappe without Rodrigo appeared again on Real’s social network.
When France Football published the Ballon d’Or candidates, Rodrigo added a picture of himself with the titles he won last season, which could indicate that he has been very frustrated lately. So far this season the player has provided a goal and an assist in five league games with the Blancos.
