Georgina Rodriguez, the wife of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nasr Club, revealed her reaction to the latter’s departure to the Saudi League in January 2023.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr after terminating his contract by mutual consent with Manchester United in November 2022.
Georgina said in excerpts shown from the documentary series about her that she was extremely happy with Ronaldo’s departure to the Saudi League.
She explained that she wanted to leave Manchester, and that she felt very comfortable as a result of having a new experience in Saudi Arabia.
“I was very excited to have this experience because I know that great things await us there in Saudi Arabia, and I found that to be the case,” she continued.
Georgina continued: “I found a wonderful atmosphere since the first day, and the reception was wonderful at the ceremony to introduce Ronaldo as a new player in Al-Nassr, and everyone was extremely happy with Ronaldo’s move to the Saudi League.”
Ronaldo’s wife also confirmed that Cristiano Junior and Mateo, Ronaldo’s sons, may play for Al-Nassr in the future, given their comfort in life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo’s contract in Saudi Arabia ends at the end of the current season with Al-Nassr Club.
