Lebanese journalist George Qardahi responded to the rumor that spread during the past hours about his conversion to Islam.
George Qardahi published a statement via the short stories feature on his Instagram account and said: “It is not the first time they have launched this rumor. They started it since I started presenting the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire program on MBC, and every time I denied this rumor, again today.” “I feel forced to categorically deny it, because I am a Maronite Christian, and I am proud of my religion and my national and sectarian affiliation.”
George QirdahiGeorge Qardahi continued: “But this does not prevent me from loving Islam, the Holy Prophet, and his family, and for me there is no difference between a Christian and a Muslim except in morals, literature, humanity, and piety. I hope that those who spread such a rumor out of love or out of bad faith will stop doing so, thank you.”
