Eight people were murdered this evening (Tuesday) in a shooting attack on Jerusalem Boulevard in Tel Aviv. Three other people were injured to varying degrees. The two terrorists were neutralized and the police forces are scanning the area in search of additional terrorists and helpers. The rescue organization stated that the units of the Dan area were called to several scenes in the city of Tel Aviv following a report of a shooting attack.
Together with MDA medics and paramedics, the units provided initial medical treatment to a number of victims with penetrating injuries, and they were evacuated in various states of injury for further treatment at area hospitals. Unfortunately, due to the severe injuries, the paramedics had to pronounce eight victims dead on the spot.
According to a preliminary investigation, these are two terrorists who fired at the light rail, after getting off it. The two, residents of Hebron, opened fire at a group of people who were on the street. The aforementioned terrorists were neutralized by the security forces and a civilian. The police and rescue forces that arrived at the scene dealt with the incidents under missile attack.
The Commissioner of Police, Rt. Sergeant Danny Levy, arrived at the scene together with the Tel Aviv District Command. “At this point, it is known about eight civilians who were killed by firing from a weapon that was on the two terrorists, in addition there are wounded to varying degrees,” the police said. “The two terrorists are neutralized in the field. Large forces of police are on the scene and are conducting extensive searches to locate additional anomalies.”
“I arrived with a rescue ambulance that I am manning, to the scene of a very serious shooting attack, where we found a large number of victims in various states of injury in several scenes,” reported rescue ambulance driver Shimi Braverman. “Together with the medics and paramedics of Hatzla and MDA, we provided initial medical treatment to a large number of victims in various states of injury with penetrating injuries in their bodies, and they were directed to continue receiving medical treatment in hospitals in the area. During the treatment at the scenes, alarms were sounded in the city, and we continued to treat several casualties while maintaining our safety.”

Benzi Himel, a rescue medic who arrived with the organization’s immediate response vehicle, reported: “When I arrived at the scene of the attack, I was directed to the light rail car, where I found a very difficult scene with a large number of unconscious victims with penetrating injuries, unfortunately, due to the nature of the severe injuries, The paramedics had to pronounce them dead on the spot.”
The Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv reported that from the attack in Jaffa, 4 injured people have so far arrived at the hospital in a moderate-severe condition, all of them are being treated and have entered operating rooms. One of the injured is in critical condition. “Two more wounded are expected to be transferred to us from the Wolfson Hospital in the near future,” Baichilov adds, stressing that as of this time the medical center is operating as usual, with protected areas and increased staff. “The emergency room is available and the current activity continues to be carried out under the directives of the Home Front Command,” the message reads.
The police call on the public to obey the instructions of the Home Front Command that save lives and to report any suspicious person to Moked 100. In the meantime, the police ruled out the suspicion of the presence of terrorists in the Sharon Hotel in Herzliya.
