Gina Maria Schumacher, daughter of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, has released her first message since reports emerged that her father made a rare public appearance at her wedding, his first in more than a decade.
Schumacher has remained out of the limelight since a serious skiing accident in 2013, which led to him entering a coma for several months.
While his current health has been kept secret by the family, recent reports claim that he attended Gina Maria’s wedding in Mallorca, making it his first public outing since the accident.
Gina Maria posted a photo with her husband, Ian Bethke, on Instagram, and the couple exchanged wedding vows in an intimate atmosphere at the family villa in Mallorca, surrounded by a small circle of guests who respected the Schumacher family’s need for privacy.
