26 specialized workshops and sessions at the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition

Workshops and dialogue and discussion sessions specialized in the world of falcons, their care and breeding, were launched within the activities of the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition, held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham (north of the city of Riyadh), and organized by the Saudi Falcons Club under the slogan (A World That Looks Like You), during the period from 3 Until October 12, with the participation of more than 400 exhibitors, from 45 countries. The Saudi Falcons Club allows falconry enthusiasts and falconry enthusiasts who are visitors to the exhibition, to benefit from the scientific, cognitive and enrichment content in 26 workshops and sessions, which will be held during the exhibition days, and presented by an elite group of speakers, trainers, investors and researchers. The second day of the exhibition witnessed the holding of two workshops in the presence of a large number of visitors and guests who interacted with the presenters of these workshops and their content. The Kazakh visual artist Yesangali Sadyrbayev presented a workshop entitled: (Art as a Bridge… Documenting the Legacy and Future of Falconry), in which he compared the symbolism of falcons and hunting as one of the Arab cultural elements with art, its cultural role and its various implications. He also explained the artistic vision in his works and its historical and cultural motives.

In a workshop entitled: (Sustainable falconry… falconry at airports: What are the potential problems?), French falconer Philippe Hertel reviewed ways to organize airport aprons in the field of sustainable falconry, and its role as an economic solution to aviation safety.

The Saudi Falcons Club, through holding workshops, dialogue and discussion sessions, and focus groups specialized in the field of falcons within the activities of the Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2024, seeks to support efforts to protect falcons, sustain the hobby of falconry, and exchange experiences related to investment opportunities in this sector and environmental sustainability.
