Imam Ashour, player of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, spoke about his mother’s role in her football career.

Ashour said in statements on the “On the Stage” program: “I kissed her husband on my wedding day. She was in another place. She saw a lot of things with me since I was in Mahalla.”

The Al-Ahly star added: “She wouldn’t curse me at any time with me in training, morning or night. No matter how much I talked about her, I wouldn’t be able to do her justice either.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “My mother does not watch any match I play because she is very afraid that I will get injured.”
