Books – Muhammad Al-Qarsh:
The countdown to the Egyptian Super Cup tournament, which will be held in the UAE from October 20 to the 24 of the same month, has begun.
This edition of the Super Cup will be held with the participation of 4 clubs: Al-Ahly (League Champion), Zamalek (Golden Card), Pyramids (Cup Champion), and Ceramica Cleopatra (League Champion).
Al-Ahly list and absences
Al-Ahly’s list, which was decided upon by the technical staff of the first football team led by Swiss coach Marcel Kohler, witnessed the absence of 3 influential players.
With a decree from Kohler, Al-Ahly club took the entire team roster except for Ali Maaloul, Karim Fouad, and Mohamed Hani.

Attack: Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba – Wissam Abu Ali.
Zamalek absences
The White Knight enters the Egyptian Super Cup tournament with many injuries, amounting to 10 players.
The Portuguese coach, Jose Gomez, decided to take the duo, Nabil Imad Dunga and Mustafa Al-Nari, with their injury number, as he was keen to prepare them in the Emirates.
Zamalek’s medical staff, led by Mohamed Osama, is seeking to prepare the duo to participate in the second match if they qualify, after their absence from the Pyramids match in the semi-finals was confirmed.
Date of the Egyptian Super Cup matches
The tournament matches will be held on the same day, Sunday, October 20, with Zamalek facing its counterpart, Pyramids, at four in the afternoon, while Al-Ahly will face its competitor, Ceramica Cleopatra, at eight in the evening.
