Media personality Yasmine Ezz emphasized the importance of poetry in the wife’s life, stressing the need for every husband to express his feelings toward his wife through poetic words.
During an episode of her program “People’s Speech” on MBC Egypt, Yasmine sent a message to men: “A man must tell his wife poetry because he is not less than Al-Mutanabbi,” continuing: “If your wife cooks for you instead of telling her it is lacking salt, express your feelings to her in words.” She was sweet and thanked her.
Yasmine added: “For ladies, today is a holiday. Instead of sitting around without work and the devil calling on you to think about divorce, make rice pudding and take care to serve nuts to your husband.”
She stressed the importance of having the necessary things next to the husband, such as placing an extinguisher next to the remote control if he smokes, noting that the wife should be the first to provide assistance.
Yasmine also called on wives to give gifts as a way to express love, saying: “If you are sitting next to your husband and you have gold in the cupboard, give it to him so he can feel comfortable. Even if there is no pressure on him, gifting him something will make the relationship more special.”
