The Cairo Criminal Court, headed by Counselor Wael Saeed Zahran, sentenced A. to 3 years in prisonHamad Yasser Al-Mohammadi Football player for the Qatari club Al Rayyan, and brother of former Zamalek star Hussein Yasser Al-Mohammadi, accused of assaulting a girl in the State of Qatar.
During the following points, we monitor the most important information about the case in which a ruling was issued yesterday, Sunday:
-The accused, Ahmed Yasser Al-Muhammadi, was accused by a foreign girl of assaulting him inside his residence in Qat.
The victim stated that he lured her under the pretext of celebrating his birthday, then assaulted her by force.
The girl filed a report against the player in Qatar. He was investigated and the investigating authorities ordered his release.
-The player was released, and a medical examination was conducted on the girl, indicating the accuracy of her statements and the accusation made or not.
-The accused took advantage of his release and left Qatar to return to Egypt.
The investigating authorities contacted Interpol and the competent authorities in Egypt to arrest him in Sharm El-Sheikh, and he was transferred to the Abdeen Police Department in Cairo.
– The Central Cairo Public Prosecution Office decided to refer the player Ahmed Yasser Al-Mohammadi to criminal trial on charges of assaulting a girl in the State of Qatar.
The Abdeen Criminal Court heard the first session of the accused’s trial on September 15th.
The accused arrived today, Sunday, to attend his sentencing session, and remained holding the Qur’an, reciting the Holy Qur’an before pronouncing the sentence.
The Cairo Criminal Court sentenced the accused to 3 years in prison.
