Journalist Ahmed Moussa said that Egypt is a country committed to its agreements and treaties, and all Egyptian presidents have committed to international treaties regarding transit through the Suez Canal.

Moussa added, during the presentation of the program “On My Responsibility,” broadcast on the “Sada El Balad” channel, that every day the enemies of the homeland spread rumors about Egypt, explaining that the rumors start from within the Zionist entity, saying: “The Suez Canal is the most important and safe global shipping lane.” It is an Egyptian channel and important for the global trade movement.”

He explained that the only case in which ships are not allowed to pass is if they are in a state of war with the country that owns the ship, and here they inform the United Nations.

He stressed that if some ships are not allowed to pass, the Suez Canal will transform from a navigational corridor for which you are responsible to the internationalization of the Suez Canal, due to the distinction between ships crossing the Suez Canal.

Journalist Ahmed Moussa concluded that some people are circulating incorrect information regarding transit through the Suez Canal and want to internationalize the canal and create confusion.
