Today, Wednesday, the Saudi national team announced its lineup for its next matches against Australia and Indonesia in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals.
Saudi Arabia will host Australia and Indonesia on November 14 and 19, respectively, in the third group competitions in the third stage of the qualifiers.
The national team will play the two matches under the leadership of Frenchman Hervé Renard, who returned to coach the national team a few days ago after the Saudi Al-Ittihad team separated from coach Roberto Mancini.
After the team collected 5 points in 4 matches in the third stage of the qualifiers, Al-Ittihad hired coach Renard, who had left coaching Saudi Arabia in March 2023, to coach the French women’s football team.
