Maha Al-Saghir talks about her crisis with her brother over inheritance
Journalist Maha Al-Saghir, wife of the artist Ahmed Al-Sakka, spoke about her recent problem with her brother regarding inheritance, over which a dispute occurred after the death of her father, the famous hairdresser Muhammad Al-Saghir, in 2021.
Maha Al-Saghir explained, in a television interview, that she considers these matters “very personal and private,” confirming that she is trying to get over it, but despite her will, she feels upset, saying: “For hours, I find things written that hurt and bother me, but I try not to look for them, and he gets angry with me because in the end, I am a son.” “Adam feels it, but if I get upset, I will try to move on quickly.”
During the meeting, she sent a message to her brother, saying: “May God do good for us and him, guide us, and fix our situation,” while she sent a message to her father, saying, “I miss you very much, of course.”
It is noteworthy that Maha Al-Saghir, the wife of Ahmed Al-Sakka, appeared before the South Cairo Court of First Instance, accompanied by her personal lawyer, to begin judicial procedures related to her rights to the remaining estate of her late father, Muhammad Al-Saghir, the famous hairdresser.
According to sources, Maha is experiencing a delay in receiving her rights from the estate since her father’s death in 2021.
She accused her brother, Mustafa Al-Saghir, of not handing her her legal share of the inheritance, as she said that he seized all branches of her father’s company, including its revenues and profits, whose branches are spread throughout Egypt and abroad.
