The Sun newspaper revealed the details of the first moments of the terrifying accident that West Ham United striker Michel Antonio suffered while driving his Ferrari last Saturday, and what the Jamaican player said immediately after it happened.
The newspaper confirmed that a person named Samuel Woods witnessed the West Ham player’s accident when he was driving his car back home.
Samuel said in statements to The Sun newspaper: “I told him ‘hello’ to see if there was anyone alive.”
He added: “I heard sirens, and I told him that help was on its way. He was very confused. He said: ‘Where am I? What’s happening? What car am I in?'”
He concluded: “The paramedics arrived very quickly. I could not believe what happened. The car smelled like gasoline,” noting that Michel Antonio was unable to understand what he heard.
