Al-Ahly doctor reveals the details of Taher Mohamed Taher’s injury and his treatment plan

Ahmed Jaballah, Al-Ahly’s doctor, announced that Taher Mohamed Taher, the team’s player, suffered a partial tear in the lower front muscle, after he underwent medical examinations in order to determine an accurate diagnosis of his condition.

Al-Ahly’s doctor said in his statements to the club’s official website that Taher had an MRI that confirmed that he had a partial tear below the anterior muscle in the outer part.

Jaballah explained that Taher is undergoing treatment and will undergo new medical examinations next week to check on his condition and determine the period of his absence.

Al-Ahly resumed training this morning at the club’s branch in Nasr City, in preparation for the match between Algerian club Belouizdad and Algeria, scheduled for next Sunday at Cairo Stadium in the third round of the African Champions League.

An exceptional season for Taher

During the current season, Taher Mohamed Taher played 12 matches with Al-Ahly in various local and international competitions and was able to score 5 goals and make 4 assists.

Taher’s start in the 2024-2025 season with Al-Ahly is the best period during his career with the team in terms of scoring participation in addition to continuing to appear.

The 27-year-old succeeded in securing a starting place in the team formation at the expense of Reda Selim and Percy Tau, whose role was reduced to the substitute player in most of the matches of the current season.
