Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah from ARLnow

As many of us gather with family and friends to celebrate, we wanted to take a moment to wish our readers joy during this festive season.

To those celebrating Christmas Eve tonight and Christmas tomorrow, we hope your days are merry and bright. To our readers who are celebrating Hanukkah this week, we hope the start of the Festival of Lights bring warmth and peace.

Our team will be taking a brief break to enjoy the holidays with our loved ones, but we’ll continue to monitor and report any significant local news. Assuming no breaking stories in the meantime, we’ll be back on Thursday, Dec. 26.

As always, you can email us with any tips or community updates — send it to [email protected]as we’re finally moving over from our longtime [email protected] address.

And while use of AI-generated images for news stories remains suspended, we hope you’ll indulge us this one whimsical — if improbable — depiction of a festive scene over kind-of-sort-of-Rosslyn.

Happy holidays, Arlington!
