Books – Mustafa Al-Gretli:
Walid Al-Tarhouni, director of football at the Libyan club Al-Suwaihli, revealed the truth about what was reported about former Zamalek and Al-Ittihad Alexandria defender Mahmoud Alaa terminating his contract with the club due to disagreements with the team’s coach.
Al-Tarhouni said in statements following Channel 1 on Tuesday: “The player asked to leave due to special family circumstances, and the contract was terminated, and all that was reported about a dispute between him and the team’s technical staff is completely incorrect.”
The director of football at the Libyan club justified his statements by emphasizing that the technical staff was the one who requested the contract with Mahmoud Alaa.
The director of football at Al-Suwaihli Club concluded his statements by saying: “We hoped that the player would continue with us because on the technical level we lost a great player with distinguished abilities.”
Mahmoud Alaa moved to the Libyan club Al-Suwaihli, during the last summer transfer period, after his contract with Zamalek club was terminated.
