Princess Mona Riyad Al-Solh was buried at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque, in the city of Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this afternoon, Sunday, after it was announced The Saudi Royal Court. She passed away yesterday.
Her coffin was carried by her son, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, and his brother, Khaled, amid a large crowd of princes and dignitaries in Saudi Arabia, and members of her family, including her daughter, sisters, and grandchildren.
Princess Mona, who holds both Lebanese and Saudi nationalities, was an example of an authentic Arab woman who combined the ancestry of lineage and the depth of her commitment to the human values with which she was raised in the home of her father, the late martyr, President Riad Al-Solh, a man of independence, and the sister of the late Alia, Princess Lamia, Mrs. Bahija, and Minister Laila Al-Solh Hamadeh.
The late princess lived with presidents since her childhood, and learned her love for Lebanon from her father, whom she accompanied on many visits.
