The 2014-2015 season witnessed the disappearance of Gedo after suffering an injury, and he started his season very late in the 29th round in the league, participating in only 6 matches and scoring a single goal after he returned to playing the substitute role, and it was the Al-Ahly and Al-Maqasa match, where he participated for 67 minutes.

Gedo was not included in Al-Ahly’s African roster due to his lack of continuous participation and the rise of players in the same position, in addition to the new deals concluded by Al-Ahmar, so in the summer of 2015 came the decision to leave Al-Ahly and head to El Entag El Harby, then the Arab Contractors, then El Gouna.

With Al-Ahly, Gedo won the league title, the Egyptian Cup, the African Champions League, and the Egyptian and African Super Cups, and he also won the African Nations title with the Egyptian national team in 2020.
