The artist Angham revealed that the studio in which she produces and films all of her artistic works was founded by her father in the 1990s, and that he left it to her to manage. She explained that she made some changes in it to keep pace with current technological and artistic developments, noting that she films all of her songs inside this studio.
Angham pointed out, during her interview with the program “The Last Word” presented by the media personality Lamees Al-Hadidi on the ON screen, that this studio during her father’s era witnessed the production and composition of many songs by the most prominent male and female singers, in addition to musical works, including important works by the artist Mohamed Sobhi.
Regarding her evaluation of her performance over the past year, she commented: “It is not easy to evaluate myself, but what is most important to me is the amount of achievement that I have achieved. Usually, I sit with myself for long periods to review what I have achieved, and sometimes I am somewhat harsh on myself.”
In response to the media personality’s question about her attention to the smallest details in her work, from clothes and makeup to distribution and music, she replied: “Creating clothes and makeup has become less burdensome for me now because I have a team that understands my taste well, but the greatest stress comes when I finish singing and hand over the song to an engineer.” The voice and the distributor, this stage witnesses tension and attraction between us to ensure that the work appears in its best light.”
She added: “Music is the most stressful stage for me. I feel a great responsibility towards achieving the quality I aspire to, and there is always an ongoing discussion between me, the sound engineer and the distributor, and we may repeat it several times.”
Regarding how she reconciled her artistic responsibilities with her role as a mother, she said: “The most difficult stage was when my children were young, but having my mother by my side reduced my anxiety about them while I was traveling or filming. This was great luck for me.”
Angham described her period of work in the theater as being the most difficult for her in her role as a mother, especially during the performance of the play “Bullet in the Heart,” saying: “It was a very stressful period. I spent three or four years working in the theater continuously. During that period, my son Omar He grew up in front of me, and I felt like I didn’t fully realize how he had changed. The theater experience was violent for me, and I felt a little neglectful towards my children.
