Fahd Al-Mawlid, the star of the Saudi national team, has been suffering from a critical health condition since he fell from the second floor in Dubai last year.
The case of Fahd Al-Mawlid
In September 2024, Saudi player Fahd was involved in an accident that fell from the balcony of his house on the second floor in Dubai, which resulted in him suffering multiple fractures in the skull and body.
The newborn was transferred to Rashid Hospital in the Emirates after falling into a coma, where he was placed under intensive care and under artificial respiration for approximately 6 days.
On September 19, 2024, the generator was transported in an equipped medical plane to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the player remained in a coma as his health condition did not improve.
Dubai Police’s initial investigations indicated that the accident occurred while he was on the balcony, without mentioning the circumstances and reasons for his fall.
Investigations revealed that the generator was not alone in the apartment at the time of his fall, as he was with some of his friends.
Saleh Al-Harithi, the former Saudi national team doctor, spoke hours ago about the player’s medical condition, indicating the deterioration of his health condition.
The team doctor entered into a crying fit while talking about the birth, and said: “The player is in God’s mercy now.”
Although the player is still in the care room under detention, the only development in his health condition is the removal of his respirator, which doctors confirmed is a positive indicator.
Who is Fahd Al-Mawlid?
Fahd is 29 years old. He was born on September 14, 1994 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He began his football career with the Saudi Al-Ittihad team, and progressed through the team’s various stages, until he rose to the first team in 2011.
The 29-year-old participated with the Al-Ittihad team in 244 matches in various tournaments, during which he scored 76 goals and provided 44 assists.
