Yousra Jabr to Al-Nas TV: The journey of the Isra and Mi’raj occurred as an awakening after multiple dream visions

Dr. Yousry Jabr, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, confirmed that The journey of Isra and Mi’raj It was a wakefulness for the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, but it was preceded by multiple dream visions, preparing the Prophet to bear this great event.

Responding to skepticism about the journey of Isra and Mi’raj

Dr. Yousry Jabr explained, during an episode of the “Know Your Prophet” program, broadcast on Al-Nas channel, today, Friday, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saw the Night Journey and Mi’raj in his dreams several times before he woke up, and this is from God’s mercy on him, as God prepared him psychologically and spiritually. For this blessed journey, citing the Almighty’s saying: “Glory be to Him who took His servant by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” stressing that the word “His servant” refers to the soul. And the body together, which indicates that the event occurred while awake.

Dream narratives about the Night Journey and Mi’raj

He pointed out that some of the narratives that were reported about the Isra and Mi’raj being a dream may be true, but they precede the real event that occurred while awake, explaining that the Qur’anic verse: “And We did not make the vision that We showed you anything but a trial for the people,” indicates that the vision in this case was a waking insight. Because a dream vision alone does not arouse controversy or astonishment among people, unlike a waking vision, which was a reason for the fascination of some and the belief of others.

He stressed that the Night Journey and Mi’raj were among the greatest miracles with which God honored His Noble Prophet, to be a test and a test for people, pointing out that the Holy Qur’an, with its eloquence, clarifies the dimensions of this event in a way that cannot be doubted.
