Below is the text of the statement:

A statement issued on the occasion of March 8th
Where are the rights of Palestinian women on International Women’s Day?

The Forum of Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations to Combat Violence against Women and all Arab feminists and human rights organizations stand up, as we approach the eighth of March, to shout at the top of our voices, “Stop the aggression and crimes against the women and children of Gaza immediately… Stop the crimes of genocide, the war of starvation, and forced displacement.” As a result of this aggression, 31,000 martyrs were martyred, more than 70% of whom were women and children. There are two women martyred every hour, in addition to a large number of people missing under the rubble, and there are women whose news is still unknown, as the occupation army took them to unknown places.

Who brings back the normal tragedies for us, Palestinian feminists?

We had our movement every eighth of March, and we had a long list of rights that we asked for and others that we took away, but today, while the women of Gaza are being exterminated, we stand across the homeland and homelands, angry, revolting, and in long mourning… and our demand now is to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip, And to stop the reproductive genocide of its women, and we declare it a day for the Palestinian woman, for her hunger in queues for insufficient aid, for her panic under a sky loaded with death knuckles, for her exhausted body in displacement tents and shelter centers, for her raped body in captivity, for her naked body at the checkpoints, for her menstruation that finds nothing to contain. Health care tools, for her high-risk pregnancy in light of famine, displacement, and bombing, for her uterus that could be removed for the simplest medical symptoms, for her privacy violated in the crowds of displacement and tents, for her motherhood in light of the possibility of death, for her Palestinianism, which crucified humanity at its doorstep, in light of absolute Arab silence and unrelenting American support. Limited, and the complicity of many European countries.

Despite all this, we appreciate all forms of support and solidarity at the Arab and international level for the Palestinian cause, which respects the dignity of our people. The expansion of forms of solidarity confirms the justice of the cause, and we await more movements and stances in support of our right to demand an immediate end to the genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem, and to continue. Moving forward towards freedom, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent, fully sovereign Palestinian state.

Today, we Palestinian women and Arab feminists renew and affirm, through the activities of March 8th and every day, the following:

– Pressure on the occupying state to stop its aggression immediately and hold this entity accountable for its crimes in violation of international law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, and all international laws to achieve the delegitimization of this occupying entity.
– Opening the Rafah crossing and all crossings to bring in aid and remove the wounded for treatment.
– Stopping the land corridor that connects the occupying state with some Arab countries and supplies them with materials.

Palestinian women lived as steadfast resistance in the face of Zionist aggression
Let us shout with the voice of the women of Gaza
Stop the genocide…stop the aggression immediately
