RAMADAN month The greatest and longest of the months, Egyptians are keen to go to the Fatwa House, whether to ask questions or search for an answer to what is on their minds regarding fasting issues, including: :
I am not veiled, will God accept my prayers and fasting?
The legal dress code for a Muslim woman is something that God Almighty imposed on her. He forbade her from showing what he commanded her to cover from non-mahram men. The legal dress is what covers her entire body except her face and hands. So that it does not reveal, describe, or heal. The various legal duties do not replace each other in performance. For example, whoever prays, this does not justify him to abandon fasting, and whoever prays and fasts, this does not justify her abandoning wearing the Islamic dress..
A Muslim woman who prays and fasts and does not adhere to the dress code that God Almighty has commanded her to wear according to Islamic law is doing good by praying and fasting, but she is doing wrong by leaving her obligatory hijab.
It is worth noting that fasting is one of the greatest acts of worship and the most rewarding, as God Almighty specifically determined the reward of the fasting person. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God Almighty says: Fasting is for Me and I will reward for it. He gives up his desires and his eating and drinking from God. “Gladly.”
Islam has prescribed its own law for this obligation, including conditions, pillars, sunnahs, and mandates. If they are respected, this worship will be valid and complete. Every act of worship has prohibitions and dislikes that must be known. To avoid it, if something forbidden occurs in it, it becomes invalid, and if something bad happens in it, it deviates from perfection. Likewise, in every act of worship, there are matters that are permissible to abandon and do, regardless of whether they do not cause harm or influence.
Therefore, the accountable person had to distinguish between these matters that are subject to this worship – the worship of fasting – in order to achieve it in the way that God Almighty is pleased with, and thus obtain reward in the world of this world, and a great reward in the afterlife.
