A goalless draw prevailed over the confrontation of the Guinea-Bissau national team with its guest, the Ethiopian national team, today, Thursday, in the third round competitions in Group A of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in America, Mexico and Canada.
The two teams’ attempts to break the goalless tie did not succeed throughout the 90 minutes, leaving the two teams to share the two points of the match.
The Guinea-Bissau national team raised its score to five points in second place, awaiting the result of the match between Egypt, which leads the standings with six points, and Burkina Faso, which is in third place with four points.
On the other hand, the Ethiopian national team raised its score to two points in fifth place (penultimate), two points behind Sierra Leone (fourth place) and Burkina Faso (third), and the Djibouti national team is at the bottom of the standings with no points.
