Captain Mordechai Kadmon Menof Ayalon was killed in a grenade explosion in Gaza

Captain Mordechai Kadmon, a combat engineering officer and a resident of Nof Ayalon, was killed this morning (Monday) from a grenade explosion in Gaza not during operational activity. The military police started an investigation into the circumstances of the serious incident. Mordechai was a student of the Netzer Matai settlement yeshiva in Ariel, and after two years of studying at the yeshiva he enlisted in combat engineering. He went on to become an officer and was supposed to be released next month.

Rabbi Zion Twil, head of the Yeshiva, eulogized him: “Mordechai came from a family with roots in glory, his parents and family are noble and dignified people. He had an endless smile in all situations, wherever he was. He was a good friend and demanded good from everyone around him, always helping with a smile The joy never left his face. Mordechai was always searching and asking questions. He never sat still and wanted to add wisdom.”

The Hesder Yeshiva Union gave a eulogy: “The Hesder Yeshiva Union mourns bitterly the fall of the soldier Capt. Mordechai Kadmon the 14th.
