During the past few hours, a number of rumors have spread about the death of artist Mohamed Gomaa, after a post by artist Salah Abdullah in which he mentioned the account of artist Mohamed Gomaa instead of poet Mohamed Gomaa.
Mohamed Gomaa responded to these rumors by denying them through his account on the social networking site “Facebook”, where he wrote: “Dear friends and great fans, I am fine and there is no truth to the rumor of my death. Tomorrow, God willing, I will go live on my official page. Thank you for checking up on me.”
It is worth mentioning that Mohamed Gomaa’s latest work was his participation in the movie “Shako”, starring Amr Youssef, Mohamed Mamdouh, Dina El-Sherbiny, Amina Khalil, Mohamed Gomaa, Waleed Fawaz, Abbas Abu El-Hassan, Gamil Barsoum, Hanan Youssef, with a special appearance by the artist Yousra and guest star Ahmed Fahmy. It was written by Wissam Sabry and directed by Karim El-Sobky.
