Qatar demands a clear international position to deter Israeli encroachment news

The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh said Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani His country hopes to see a clear position from the international community to deter Israeli encroachment in the region, considering that what is happening in Gaza cannot be accepted by any honest person.

The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister added in an interview with Qatar TV on Tuesday, “We pursued with determination for an agreement and we did not become exhausted. Our goal was to stop the aggression and bloodshed, but there was an obstruction in the negotiations, primarily from the Israeli side.”

He stressed that Qatar’s priority in Lebanon is to stop the war, noting that his country has had extensive contacts with Lebanese politicians, and it believes that the elections in this country are an internal matter.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani stressed that Qatar does not accept attacks launched from Al Udeid base against any country in the region and outside it.

A Qatari Air Force plane arrived at Rafic Hariri Airport in Beirut the day before yesterday, Sunday, carrying aid including medicines and shelter supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development, as part of an air bridge from Doha to Beirut, which Qatar had announced its launch, where it is expected to take place. During this month, 10 planes loaded with medical supplies, shelter materials, and foodstuffs were sent to Lebanon.

Since last September 23, the Israeli raids on Lebanon have resulted in more than 1,500 dead and 4,471 wounded, including a large number of women and children, and more than 1,340,000 displaced people, according to official Lebanese data.
