The Automatic Pricing Committee for Petroleum Products, responsible for reviewing and setting the selling prices of petroleum products, met in the context of ensuring the provision of petroleum products and controlling market performance in accordance with the established pricing mechanisms, and in an effort to reduce the gap between the selling prices of petroleum products and their high production and import costs, the following measures were taken to reduce part of this gap. And the prices of the following petroleum products will be corrected as of Friday, 10/18/2024, provided that the committee postpones its next session to be after 6 months, as follows:
Gasoline 95.. 17 pounds / liter
Gasoline 92.. 15.25 pounds / liter
Gasoline 80… 13.75 pounds/litre
Diesel…13.50 pounds/litre
And kerosene…. 13.50 pounds/liter
The price of a ton of diesel fuel is 9,500 pounds/ton.
