Al-Riyadh newspaper | The Boxing and Kicking Federation sends an elite group of coaches and referees to Amman

The Saudi Boxing and Kickboxing Federation sent many Saudi coaches and referees of both genders to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to take an advanced course offered by the International Kickboxing Federation (WAKO), organized by the Jordanian Kickboxing Federation, in partnership with the German-Jordanian University of Amman.

The Federation’s Sports Department chose the coaches: Muhammad Al-Sheikhi, Maher Marei, Laila Jaadan, and Maha Al-Anzi. The elite participating referees also included: Sarah Istanbouli and Fahd Al-Shammari.

This comes as a continuation of the existing work in empowering and qualifying Saudi referees and coaches and raising their international rankings in multiple participations over the past two years. This is linked to the strategy of the Saudi Boxing and Kicking Federation, which among its goals is developing the skills of coaches and referees, with the aim of raising the level of player training and the levels of refereeing in local tournaments. Transferring knowledge to those interested in the laws of the game.
