Al-Ahly Club’s men’s handball team qualified for the semi-finals by defeating its Moroccan counterpart Raja Agadir with a score of 33-13 in the quarter-finals, while Zamalek qualified by defeating Adedja of Benin with a score of 45-26.
The Al-Ahly Club men’s handball team was able to defeat Mikal of Ethiopia with a score of 67-11 in its first match in the African Championship, before repeating its victory over CFG of Congo with a score of 38-19 in the second, to conclude the first round with a full score by defeating Litoile of Congo with a score of 45 – 14
