Manchester United defeats Brentford in the English Premier League

Manchester United returned to winning ways in the English Premier League, today, Saturday, against its guest, Brentford, after defeating them (2-1) in a match between them in the eighth round.

The two teams met on Manchester United’s soil at Old Trafford.

Manchester United was able to achieve its first victory in official competitions after stumbling in 5 consecutive matches between the English and European leagues, as it drew against Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Twente, and Porto, and lost to Tottenham.

Manchester United fell behind in the first half against Brentford after a goal by Ethan Pinnock in the 45th minute + 5 minutes.

In the second half, coach Eric Ten Hag’s team succeeded in correcting its situation thanks to braces from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hoylund, respectively, in the 47th and 62nd minutes, respectively.

The victory raised Manchester United’s score to 11 points in tenth place in the English Premier League, while Brentford remained behind by 10 points to fall to twelfth place.
