The terrorist organization Hezbollah is marking today (Wednesday) the 40th day of the assassination of Nasrallah in the terrorist organization’s main headquarters bunker in Da’ahia, with many launches into northern and central Israel. Since the morning hours, according to the IDF, more than 120 launches have been identified that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory.

In the morning, a barrage of 11 long-range rockets was launched into the center of the country. Alarms were activated in Gush Dan, Yarkon, Sharon, Shomron and Shefala. One of the rockets hit a vehicle in Ra’anana and another rocket fell in an open area in the Netavg area.

Later, during the speech of Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Kassem, Hezbollah launched huge barrages at Safed and the Galilee settlements. The IDF confirmed that about 50 launches were detected in the barrage at Safed. A short time before, a volley was launched into the area of ​​the settlement of Avivim – the northernmost settlement in the Marom HaGilil regional council, located right on the border line between Israel and Lebanon.

As a result of the shooting at Avivim, at least one direct hit was detected in the buildings within the moshav. From preliminary reports alone, it appears that at least four people were injured as a result of the fall. The condition of the victims has not yet been reported.

Heavy damage was caused to buildings and huge fires were raging in the area. The smoke is clearly visible in most areas of the Upper Galilee.

The Israel Fire and Rescue Service – North District, said: “Several fire centers in Moshav Avivim following direct hits to buildings and open areas. 8 fire teams from the Galilee-Golan station with the assistance of the emergency squad, are working on several fire centers in Moshav Avivim after a heavy barrage in the area.”

The commander of the incident, Rabbi Reshef Roi Finish: “After the heavy shooting in the area, the firefighters in extinguishing operations and searching for casualties in a number of buildings and agricultural warehouses that are burning due to direct hits.”

Meanwhile, Hezbollah launched another long-range rocket, towards the center of the country. Alarms were activated at 16:18 in many cities including Bnei Brak, Elad, Givat Shmuel, Netavg, Dan region, Sharon region, Yarkon region and in the Modi’in region.

The IDF stated that “alerts were activated in several areas in the center of the country following launches that crossed from Lebanon. The details are under review.” Later, the IDF stated that “following the alerts that were activated a short time ago in several areas in the center of the country, one launch that crossed the territory of Lebanon was intercepted.”

A few minutes after the alarms were triggered in the center of the country, it was reported in Lebanon that the IDF Air Force had launched a wave of attacks against Hezbollah targets in the Dahaiah district in Beirut. The reports in Lebanon indicate that IDF attacks are also taking place in areas that the IDF did not warn about in the leaflets scattered this morning in Dahaiah.

The Fire and Rescue Department reports on the doubling of the crews at the scene: “15 fire crews from the Galilee-Golan station under the command of Rabbi Reshef Roi Finish, with the assistance of the moshav’s emergency squad, are working at several fire stations in Moshav Avivim after a heavy barrage in the area.”

“At this stage, the firefighters are still working in several sectors extinguishing a building in the settlement, a packing house, agricultural implements and warehouses,” the Fire and Rescue Department said. “The teams are concentrating their efforts to put out the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other buildings.”
