She added in a statement that Al-Arousi is wanted by security forces, pledging to pay thirty million Yemeni riyals, equivalent to fifteen thousand dollars, to anyone who provides information about him or arrests him and hands him over to the security of the valley and the desert.
In addition, a military source said that Al-Arousi, a soldier in the 135th Infantry Brigade, opened fire on a number of Saudi soldiers present in Sayun yesterday afternoon, Friday, killing two and wounding a third.
For its part, the leadership of the National Shield Forces said that it sent a number of its members to Seiyun, Hadramaut, to cooperate with the competent authorities to arrest the killer of the two Saudi soldiers.
She added in a statement that the Third Division sent a special unit to Sayun with the aim of cooperating with the security and military authorities in the mission of arresting the so-called “Muhammad Saleh Al-Arousi,” who is accused of the crime of killing Saudi soldiers in the First Military District.
She stressed that this step comes within the framework of its tireless efforts to maintain security and stability, noting that this move is a clear message that the National Shield Forces are fully prepared to confront any threat to security and stability.
Local sources said that an army point stopped the force coming from Daraa al-Watan in the Qawada area in Wadi Hadhramaut, until they were officially instructed to allow them to pass to Sayun.
