Journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed details of the moves of Mahmoud Abdel Razek Shikabala, captain of the Zamalek team, to renew the contract of Ahmed Mostafa Zizo, the white team player.
Zizou’s contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season, and he has the right to sign with any team next January, and move to it for free at the end of the season.
Al-Ghandour said during his program on Al-Mehwar channel: “The past hours witnessed many conversations between Shikabala and some businessmen affiliated with the Zamalek club, known and unknown to the public.”
He added: “Shikabala is also talking with the club’s board of directors to contribute to renewing Zizou’s contract and ending the file as soon as possible, in light of his great importance within the white team.”
He concluded his statements: “Most of those discussions ended with promises to work on Zizou’s renewal file in the coming period and resolve it as soon as possible.”
