Mas, the daughter of the late artist Mohamed Rahim, said in an exclusive interview with “The Seventh Day”: “I am happy that I am achieving what my father wished for by presenting my first song composed by him, at a ceremony honoring him and on a night of his love.” Mas added that she is certain that her father Saeed and feels it now, pointing out that she dedicates the words of the song “Ruh Al Bahr” to her father, and added that she has finished recording 5 songs composed by the late Muhammad Rahim and intends to release them soon.
The star Tamer Hosni presented his song in which the daughter of the late artist Mohamed Rahim participated on the night of his love and honor in the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House in the presence of a group of art and music stars. Tamer Hosni played the piano during the song, and at the end of the song Tamer kissed Mas’s head, and she responded. She said while crying: “You fulfilled a dream that my father wished for.”
The Opera House witnessed a ceremony honoring Mohamed Rahim, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, led by Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, and Dr. Medhat Al-Adl, President of the Association of Authors, Composers and Publishers, and it was launched under the title “A Night of Love and Honoring Muhammad Rahim.”
The ceremony was held under the leadership of Maestro Mostafa Helmy and with sound engineering by Yasser Anwar, directed by Adel Abdo, and performed by the stars Mohamed Tharwat, Tamer Hosni, Ihab Tawfik, Shatha, Mohamed Mohy, Latifa, and Soma.
