Israeli Army Radio reported today, Saturday, that the Air Force is investigating the damage caused by the ballistic missile that was launched from Yemen at Tel Aviv.

The preliminary investigation showed that 3 interceptor missiles were launched from two defense systems and failed to intercept, according to what was reported by Al Jazeera Net news network.

The investigation explained that initially a missile was launched from the Arrow Hats defense system outside the atmosphere and failed to intercept it, indicating that the Iron Dome system fired two additional interceptor missiles and they also failed to intercept the missile.

Earlier, Israeli Army Radio said that two interceptor missiles headed towards the missile from Yemen, failed to shoot it down, and self-destructed in the air.

The official Israeli radio reported earlier today that the army was investigating the reason for the failure to intercept the Yemeni missile that exploded in Tel Aviv, leaving 30 injured.

The Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” confirmed that ambulance teams transported the injured to Wolfson and Ikhlov hospitals, following the fall of a missile launched from Yemen on Tel Aviv, according to the Al Jazeera Net news network.

Video clips showed the failure of the Israeli Iron Dome to intercept a missile launched from Yemen.
