Saudi League: Al-Ahly and Al-Fateh tied, and Al-Ettifaq won over Damak in the 22nd round

Riyadh, March 2 (QNA) – Al-Ahly and Al-Fateh tied with one goal each in the match that brought them together today at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah in the twenty-second round of the Saudi Football League.

Spain’s Christian Tello scored Al-Fateh’s goal in the 45th minute (8+8), and Frenchman Alain Maximin scored for Al-Ahly in the 75th minute.

Al-Ahly completed the match with ten players after Brazilian Roger Reda Silva was sent off with a red card in the 14th minute, and Al-Fateh player Saeed Baatia was also sent off in the 89th minute.

Al-Ahly raised its score to 44 points in third place, while Al-Fateh raised its score to 31 points in eighth place.

In the second match, Al-Ettifaq won over Damac with two unanswered goals in the match that took place at Damac Club Stadium.

Al-Ettifaq’s goals were scored by Demarai Gray and Moussa Dembele from a penalty kick in the 16th and 45th + 6 minutes, and the match witnessed Damak’s player Mustafa Zaghba being sent off in the 23rd minute.

Al-Ettifaq achieved its eighth victory in the competition, raising its score to 31 points in sixth place, and Damak suffered its seventh loss to remain in seventh place with 31 points.

At Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium for the same round, Al-Khaleej and Al-Shabab tied without goals, after a confrontation that witnessed the wasting of many scoring opportunities.

This is the seventh draw for Al-Shabab, raising its score to 25 points in eleventh place, while Al-Khaleej raised its score to 24 points in twelfth place.
