The Metz team was able to achieve victory over its counterpart, Nantes, with a score of two goals to none in the match that brought them together in the 24th round of the French League.
The Metz double was scored by player Georges Mekatwazdi in the 58th minute of the match from a penalty kick committed by Mostafa Mohamed against his team. The second goal for Metz came from Mathieu Odul in the 61st minute of the match.
Mustafa Mohamed participated as a starter in the match, before he was substituted in the 59th minute of the match, after committing a penalty kick against his team in the 57th minute.
With this victory, the Metz team raised its score of points in the French League to the 20th point in the 17th place in the league, while the Nantes team stopped at the 25th point in the 13th place in the competition’s ranking table.
Next Sunday, March 10, the Nantes team will face its counterpart, Marseille, in the 25th round of the French League.
