In the previous session, the court heard the plea of the civil plaintiff on behalf of the family of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour.
Shaaban Saeed, the lawyer, asked the court to add a new charge against the accused, which is unintentional destruction, pointing out that the Public Prosecution charged him with manslaughter and injury to the victim’s wife, as well as violating the traffic law, and the charge of unintentional destruction was not included.
The civil plaintiff for the family of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour demanded that the traffic engineer’s technical reports on the incident be included, as the case papers were devoid of them, and he demanded financial compensation amounting to forty thousand and one.
The session witnessed the absence of the accused who caused the death of the artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour and the injury of his wife, while his son and son-in-law, Reham, from the family of the late artist, attended.
The competent investigation authorities in October previously referred the accused in the case of the death of artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour in a traffic accident in October to criminal trial.
The October Court’s opposition judge had decided to release the accused on a bail amounting to 10,000 pounds pending the case.
