A number of Vodafone Egypt customers were surprised when the service stopped and no mobile network appeared in various places in Greater Cairo.
This morning, a number of social media platform users shared their complaints about the lack of a Vodafone network on their phones and their inability to make calls.
A number of users advised changing the Vodafone network from 4G to 3G so that voice services would work normally, which may indicate a problem with the coverage of the 4G network, which affects mobile Internet services and high-quality voice calls based on 4G VoLTE.
Sources at Vodafone Egypt said that there is an update process taking place on the network that may take several hours.
