An artist died in Alexandria…and his friend: He fell from the top of his house while flying

The artist Yasser El-Sharqawi died today, Sunday, following a painful accident in Alexandria, while his family announced the funeral of his body following noon prayers tomorrow from the Mosque of Condolences and Condolences at night in the events house of the Commander Ibrahim Mosque.

Hosni Hafez, a former member of the House of Representatives, a friend of the late artist, announced his death on his Facebook page, saying: “Survival belongs to God.. Death still snatches the dearest of loved ones. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. He has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty, ten years old, with a good heart and a permanent smile, the artist Yasser.” Al-Sharqawi.

Regarding the details of the death, Hafez explained in a statement to “Masrawy”: “The Alexandrian artist loved raising pigeons at the top of his house in the Camp Shizar area, and today, while feeding the pigeons, he leaned on the fence of the property and fell into it and died as a result of his injury.”

The son of the late artist announced that the funeral will be held after the noon prayer tomorrow, Monday, from the Al-Mouwasat Mosque, to bury the body in Al-Manara Cemetery “Chapter 1”, provided that the funeral will be held at night after the evening prayer in the events hall of the Commander Ibrahim Mosque.

It is noteworthy that the artist Yasser El-Sharqawi, an actor and singer born in Alexandria, participated in many dramatic works, including the series “For Security Reasons” in 2002 with the late artist Kamal El-Shenawy, and the series “Umm Al-Arousa” in 1998 starring Hussein Fahmy and Sawsan Badr, directed by Ahmed Saqr, and the movie “If This Was dream”.

In 2003, he participated in the series “Storm of Doubt” with the artist Sami Maghawry and Ahmed Salama, and it was directed by Bassem Mahfouz. His last work was his participation in the series “Lost Hearts” with the artist Abeer Sabry in 2006, directed by Ibrahim Zaki.

The late artist presented the album “Nadi” and included the songs “Bouad Hawaki”, “I Didn’t Know”, “I Slow Down”, “Whaddani”, “I Miss”, “Nadi”, “Oyoun Al Shams”, “Jayeh” and “A Thousand Ways”, as well as He presented the album “From the First Time”.
