Huawei P70.. China’s second slap in the face of America

Technical reports expected that the year 2024 would witness the Chinese company Huawei regaining its share in the smart phone market despite the American ban imposed on it about 5 years ago.

It was reported that Huawei’s sales this year may reach 60 million units of its smart phones, according to the TechInsights platform, of which 15 million units are flagship phones.

Huawei is betting on its anticipated P70 phone, which is the series that usually tops the list of the best photography phones in the world.

The Korean newspaper TheElec reported that Huawei seeks to ship 100 million smartphones this year, while a previous report by the Japanese newspaper NikkeiAsia said that the company has set a goal to ship between 60 to 70 million smartphones in 2024.

Huawei had achieved a major recovery in 2023, thanks to sales of the Mate 60 series of phones that were manufactured with the Kirin 9000S processor that the company designed in cooperation with the Chinese company SMIC, which is a processor manufactured with 7 nm technology, and it also restored the connection to the fifth generation 5G networks in Huawei phones again.

Huawei is expected to launch the upcoming P70 series soon, with expectations of huge growth in sales of the P series in 2024, at a rate that may reach 100%.

Huawei benefited greatly from the policy of restricting the iPhone in China and prohibiting its use in government places, which forced users to resort to Chinese companies such as Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, and Oppo.
