Actress Rania Farid Shawqi published a rare photo of her father, Soheir Turk, with her father, Farid Shawqi, on her Facebook account, announcing her mother’s passing hours ago.
Rania Farid Shawqi wrote: “My mother, Nour Aini, who was forgiven, God Almighty willing, has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty, the virtuous lady (Suheir Turk), and the funeral prayer will be held today, Thursday, after the noon prayer, in Al-Kawakibi Mosque (Farid Shawqi Mosque) in Agouza, and burial will be in the family graves on the road to… Fayoum, please pray for the deceased in these blessed days.”

The artist, Nahed El Sebaei, announced the death of Mrs. Suhair Turk, the wife of the late artist Farid Shawqi, and the mother of her two aunts, Rania and Abeer Farid Shawqi.
Nahid said on her Instagram account: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. My grandfather’s wife, Mrs. Soheir Turk, and the mother of my aunts Rania Farid Shawqi and Abeer Farid Shawqi, have passed away to the mercy of God Almighty. We ask you to pray for God Almighty and pray for all those we lost.”
