The General Authority of Meteorology revealed that the latest satellite images indicate sudden changes in… weather conditionToday’s weather is witnessing a rise in temperatures, rainfall of varying intensity, and active winds in the north of the country.
The Meteorological Authority indicated that the weather is witnessing a rise in temperatures in most parts of the country, with hot weather prevailing during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and North Upper Egypt, hot in South Upper Egypt and cold on the northern coasts.
Today, light to moderate rain, sometimes thundery, is expected on areas of the northern coasts and Lower Egypt, extending light rain in the evening to areas of Greater Cairo and the Canal cities.
The winds are also active in areas of the north of the country, passing through Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
The Meteorological Authority issued important warnings to citizens, the most important of which are not to be deceived by the high temperature, lighten your clothing, and stay away from lighting poles and electricity kiosks in governorates that witness thunderstorms.
As for today’s temperatures, Thursday: Great Cairo is 26 degrees and Minor is 13, Alexandria is 20 and Minor is 13, Matrouh is 19 degrees and Minor is 13, Sohag is 30 degrees and Minor is 13, Qena is 31 degrees and Minor is 14, and Aswan is 32 degrees and minus 15 degrees.
