The Egyptian youth team was defeated by its Algerian brother, by two goals to one, in the international friendly tournament held in Algeria.
Algeria will host the international friendly tournament with the participation of the teams of Egypt, Tunisia and Mauritania.
The Algerian national team opened the goals of the match through Hashem, who shot a ball from just beyond the middle of the field, taking advantage of the progress of Hazem Gamal, the Egyptian national team goalkeeper, to hit the net in the 47th minute.
Omar Fathi, the Egyptian youth national team player, was able to adjust the score in the 75th minute of the match, after he followed a ball that was blocked by the Algerian goalkeeper and fell from his hand, so he shot the ball into the net.
Mohamed Ben Labna, the Algerian youth national team player, scored the second goal in the 90+1 minute, after he followed a cross with a shot that went past the Egyptian national team goalkeeper.
The Egyptian youth national team will play its second match in the international friendly tournament against the Mauritania national team, next Saturday at 11 pm.
Our national team, led by Wael Riad, is looking forward to competing in the qualifying qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations, which will be held next October.
