The Haram District Misdemeanor Court ruled 6 months imprisonment, a thousand pounds bail, and dismissal from the job for Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht, President of Cairo University, and Dr. Sameh Abdel Fattah, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Secretary General of the Faculty of Agriculture, on charges of refraining from paying frozen financial dues to some university employees.

Some Cairo University employees had filed a direct misdemeanor against the President of the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Secretary General of the Faculty of Agriculture. It was referred to the Haram Misdemeanor Court, and a session was scheduled for February 22 as the first session. The case was reserved for a ruling on the February 29 session, and the complainant appeared against them, and the court ruled. By its previous judgment on their persons.
