Today, Tuesday, the people of Kafr El-Sheikh attended the funeral of the artist Mahmoud El-Shazly, who passed away after a struggle with illness following a stroke that kept him away from the artistic community for several years.
The people of Kafr El-Sheikh performed the funeral prayer for the soul of the artist Mahmoud El-Shazly from Al-Rahma Mosque in the area of the industrial zone in the second district of Kafr El-Sheikh, following the evening and Tarawih prayers at Al-Rahma Mosque.
It is noteworthy that the late artist was transferred to the hospital about 10 days ago after his medical condition worsened as a result of his suffering from a stroke for some time, and he died today, days after receiving treatment in the intensive care department.
The artist Ahmed Sadiq announced through his official account on the social networking site “Facebook” the death of the artist Mahmoud El Shazly after a struggle with the disease.
Sadiq revealed that the deceased had been suffering from illness for about 10 years after suffering a stroke that kept him away from the world of art about 5 years ago after the disease affected his hands and feet, which made him settle in his hometown of Kafr El-Sheikh.
