President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the armed forces in cooperation with Egyptian state agencies and institutions. To achieve comprehensive development and provide a “decent life” for citizens in all parts of the country, and to support the pillars of Egyptian national security in light of the current changes and challenges.
President Sisi confirmed – while attending the annual breakfast ceremony, which was held by the Armed Forces on Tuesday; Coinciding with the celebration of the tenth of Ramadan victories – the Egyptian people appreciate the efforts and sacrifices made by the men of the armed forces to protect Egypt and preserve its sanctities.
President Sisi congratulated the men of the armed forces and the great Egyptian people on the anniversary of the victories of the 10th of Ramadan, “which will remain one of the most wonderful epics of heroism, sacrifice and redemption,” expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the men of the armed forces and their sacrifices to preserve the security of the nation and the safety of its lands.
The Iftar celebration was attended by: Counselor Hanafi Gebali, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek, Speaker of the Senate, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the See of Mark, and General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, a number of ministers, governors, leaders of the main branches, commanders of the armed forces, the civil police, and a group of senior statesmen and veteran leaders of the armed forces.
